Mission Statement
The mission of the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas is to nourish hungry people and lead the community in ending hunger. CAFB is a non-profit organization that serves as a clearinghouse by receiving and storing truckloads of donated food and grocery products. CAFB distributes the food and grocery products in manageable quantities to more than 350 human service agencies that help people in need throughout 21 counties of central Texas. In addition to providing weekly food distribution, CAFB operates several programs to reach those in need.
