Mission Statement

The Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank's mission is to fulfill the wishes of eye donors and their families to help another overcome blindness through transplantation and research.

Description

Through public and professional education efforts, the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank facilitates eye, organ and tissue donation. We are the agency responsible for the recovery of eye tissue in Colorado and Wyoming. In 2003, the generosity of donors in our region provided for over 2,000 sight restoring transplants -- one of the top three in the nation.
