Central Kentucky Riding for the Handicapped

Description

CKRH is a therapeutic riding program, that provides riding and driving to individuals of all ages with disablities. Our focus is on "Ability... Not Disability". We currently have around 100 students riding with the program. We have students just learning to ride to those who are starting to compete in open dressage shows. These students are supported by a large group of volunteers, and more are always needed. CKRH is very depended of our volunteers for everything from working with students, to caring for the programs 20 horses. CKRH is operated at the renowned Kentucky Horse Park, which is a perfect setting of 1000 acres of rolling countryside dotted with hundreds of horses.
