Society for Animal Rescue and Adoption (SARA) is a non-profit, no-kill animal sanctuary located in Seguin, Texas on 117 acres. Started in 1996, it is largely the work and passion of Tracy Frank, Director, that keeps the Sanctuary operable. After Tracy rescued or found over 20 dogs, she decided to provide rehabilitation and shelter on a larger scale. Her goal is to provide rescue and rehabilitation for all animals while educating the public on how to do the same.
Mission Statement
To provide food, shelter, love and life in a no-kill sanctuary for all animals. We're committed to allowing all animals to live out their natural lives - even if adoption isn't possible. Every animal deserves a chance...Suffering is suffering and we've got to stop it.
