The Mission of the Life Foundation is to stop the spread of HIV, to provide leadership and advocacy in responding to the AIDS epidemic, to educate and reach out to all segments of our community, and to serve and empower those affected with HIV/AIDS.

Description

Established in 1983 by a handful of individuals with the courage and foresight to face the arrival of the AIDS epidemic in Hawaii, Life Foundation has evolved into the state's largest nonprofit AIDS service organization.Today, the Life Foundation provides a full range of support services for men, women, and children with HIV/AIDS, and offers preventive education for the community.Support for the Foundation's programs comes from public funds, private foundations, businesses and committed individuals.Life Foundation is a member aganecy of the United Way.
