Mission Statement
To preserve and teach the history of American fire fighting, while providing year-round fire prevention education to children and citizens of Ohio and beyond.
Description
Step back in time and be a part of history. Located in the heart of Downtown Columbus, in an authentically restored 1908 Columbus Engine House, we offer guided historical tours followed up with age-appropriate fire safety education by one of our fire safety educators.
Join us as a volunteer and learn to guide our visitors through the historical tour of the museum or work in our gift shop, collecting admission and running the register. Our hours of operation are Tues-Sat 10 am - 4 pm. Volunteers may pick their days, as many days as they like, Tuesday through Saturday. Join our team today!
