The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to restore human rights to the field of mental health by ensuring that criminal abuses are speedily investigated and prosecuted and that people's rights are legally protected.
Description
With over 35 years of leadership in securing mental health reforms -- including more than 100 legislative reforms internationally -- CCHR is recognized as the authority on the safeguards necessary for a safer, saner, cost effective and accountable mental health system. CCHR was established in 1969 by the Church of Scientology as an independent body to investigate and expose psychiatric violations of human rights.

CCHR continues to fight the giants in the Pharmaceutical Industry Who Create front groups to get more kids on psychotropic drugs as well as bribe psychiatrists to utilize their drugs. Psychiatrists receive the most money from this industry than any other doctor specialty. This industry also manipulated the latest DSM by bribing the committee to create guidelines in their favor. As a result, we have suicides, murderers, and over-medicated children as young as 1 to 2 years of age. Psychotropic drugs effect the mylenization of the human brain, so likely, these kids will have cognitive disorders from being medicated as they are now. This deeply troubles me. Yet CCHR gets the attention of congress and lawmakers to fight this harm being done to others by drugmakers.
