Junior Achievement sends business volunteers into kindergarten through 12th-grade classrooms to help students understand how business works. Volunteers share their experiences and present materials and lessons that are fun, colorful and interactive for students, while user-friendly for the volunteers themselves. JA volunteers need not be trained educators, but simply interested in helping young people understand their future and their potential. Program themes vary from grade to grade, with each focused on helping students to create opportunities for themselves.
