The Planning & Community Development Department helps ensure the community develops in a safe, efficient and attractive manner and strives to achieve quality development enhancing the quality of life for our residents, neighborhoods, and business community. Additionally, the Department facilitates investing scarce public sector resources in targeted areas so to bring about new development and redevelopment advancing Garland’s vision for the future.
