The ideal candidate will have experience using and creating design systems and intermediate to advanced knowledge in design systems and Figma. The role will involve updating the style guide to a more comprehensive one that designers will use but also marketing and communications. The most important undertaking of this role will be to help create a new design system based on Material Design. The product designer will also look to develop design standards and best practices to promote the design at Greenstand to be of a high standard. GreenStand is working on an app-based tree tracking project, that we believe can reverse the cycle. We have built a functioning prototype and planted thousands of trees to test our system. Now we want to take it to the next level and share it with tree planting organizations around the world. We need someone to help us level up our current designs for UX/UI on our webmap and wallets, initially on a limited project but some scope for ongoing work for the right volunteer. You must be self-driven, and be able to function in a remote work environment. Volunteer Description: Greenstand seeks a technical and organized individual to help with the overall management of the software documentation team. Work with us to develop and implement documentation standards, write and review documentation, and manage the documentation process to help Greenstand achieve its mission. This role is ideal for leaders who comprehend technical jargon, simplify complex ideas, and relate to people from all backgrounds and skill levels. This 12-month project is perfect for professionals who work independently, as part of cross-functional teams, and are passionate about contributing to a purpose-driven mission.
