Volunteering with Red Cross is a very satisfying experience, I volunteer for the American Red Cross with pride, knowing that I am providing a service that is well needed, cannot be bought or manufactured and that is providing “LOVE” in time of need.

Even though I have never volunteered for this organization, I have read a lot about it and seen, in my high school many people donating blood for others. I think its a great opportunity to help others and also to learn real life skills that will help later on with communication and even in job sites. I really want to become a volunteer and want to help out my community as well.

I have been trying to connect with the Red Cross to volunteer for this position since June 1. It's now July 1. The contact email listed is for a person who no longer works there and the phone number lists two emloyees who no longer work there. I am frustrated because this sounds like a wonderful volunteer opportunity. I'm going to keep trying, but find it really silly to post an opportunity and then not list accurate or current contact info. Do you need a volunteer for this position or not?
