New Era Educational and Charitable Support Foundation is looking for volunteers to assist the organization to develop a fundraising strategy with focus on the US, research potential donor organizations and funding opportunities, towards the establishment of our Leadership Education and Peace Training Institute (LEPTI),located in Jos,Plateau State, Nigeria. Volunteers will not be requested to submit any funding request on behalf of our organization.
The mission of the Leadership Education and Peace Training Institute (LEPTI) is to contribute to the deeper understanding, acceptance and practice of peace, reconciliation, compassion and forgiveness by ethical and non-violent means in Africa and throughout the world. Through our programs and projects of training, research and information dissemination, we seek to empower grassroots individuals and communities, through a non-dogmatic ethic of peace. Through the contribution of professional volunteers, we aim to easily access resources, funding and grants from the United States to support our efforts towards the establishment of the Leadership Education and Peace Training Institute (LEPTI)
Skills: Experience with a similar projects, Commitment and good communications skill are strongly needed. Previous experience in fundraising/grants/writing project proposals for nonprofit Organizations will be an added advantage.
