Bay State Dogs is a Massachusetts-based shelterless rescue organization. That means we don't have a building where our dogs are housed. Instead we rely on the kindness of loving people who are willing to open their homes (and hearts!) to a homeless or abandoned dog until s/he is adopted. Fostering gives a dog a chance to find a happy, loving, forever home -- a chance they may not have had if not for you!
Foster families provide temporary care for our adoptable dogs. Bay State dogs provides all veterinary care. Foster parent volunteers provide their time, love, food, and a place in their home and heart for a dog in need. We do our best to match the right foster dog with the right foster family to ensure a positive experience for everyone.

Mission Statement
Bay State Dogs, Inc. rescues and re-homes unwanted and abandoned dogs in Massachusetts. We provide an alternative solution to Craigslist and other classifieds for dog owners in Massachusetts needing to surrender their dogs to ensure that they find a safe and caring forever home. We also assist shelters and animal control officers by re-homing dogs in their care when needed. We have established a fund for dog owners who need temporary assistance in order to keep their dog(s), providing them with dog food and veterinary care
Description
All dogs will receive appropriate veterinary care, including spay/neuter, and a behavior evaluation before being re-homed. Dogs will also be microchipped.
