Proactive Community Services mission is to improve health and social disparity outcomes for disadvantage, underserved adults, families, and youth through programs that empowers and promote wholeness leading to self-sufficiency.
Description
Proactive Community Services over aching goals are to: 1) promote chronic disease prevention and healthy lifestyles through programs that provide access to education, information, prevention, early intervention, and treatment and support services; 2) provide HIV/AIDS, STI (sexually transmitted infections) and pregnancy prevention programs; 3) provide access to programs that assist individuals with maintaining economic self-support to prevent, reduce, or eliminate dependency; and 4) provide development programs that build development assets that strengthen individuals ability to reduce risky behaviors and improve life outcomes.
