Volunteer as a group leader, mentor, coach, jobs advisor, tutor or instructor in "Classes to Change Your Life."
Each of the classes is shown on the website worknlearn.us.
The classes are free and meet live in virtual Zoom video meetings on Tuesday nights.

The course is for anyone who is unemployed, underemployed, in recovery, or needs to change their life. It is also for anyone who wants to advance as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

The course is organized around small groups of three or four people who are self-selected, all men or all women. Each group has its own weekly meeting in a breakout session from the larger class.

A group leader guides discussion of the questions provided about the class topic, the steps each will take the following week, and how they will help each other.

A mentor for the small group encourages members as they transform their lives. The mentor helps discussions about relationships, work, authority, attitude, integrity, communication, conflict, and stewardship.

A coach or jobs advisor brings expertise in some human resource field such as helping career-changing and job-seeking adults identify their marketable skills, interests, and job objectives, tune their resumes, do practice interviews, network for informational and job interviews, and find ideal jobs. The coach might meet with a few participants by Zoom during the week between classes.

An instructor, teaches one or more practical career soft skills, such as job hunting, resumes, networking, interviewing, public speaking or personal budgeting.
