First Night St. Pete 2013 (our 20th year!)needs your help on December 31,2012. A multiple venue celebration on the St. Petersburg waterfront, which draws over 25,000 participants, First Night celebrates the arts and highlights our community. Volunteers are needed to sell buttons, check buttons, and assist with the numerous art and performance related activities. Several 3 hour shifts available. Free admission button and T shirt to all volunteers. Groups welcome! Please contact jorge@firstnightstpete.com.

Founded in 1993, First Night is an independent 501(c)3 not for profit corporation run by a volunteer board of directors. The mission of First Night is to broaden and deepen the public’s appreciation for the visual and performing and literary arts through an innovative, diverse and high quality program on New Year’s Eve, which offers the community a shared cultural experience in the center of the city that is accessible and affordable.

St. Petersburg rings in the New Year with music, lights, dance, fire, bubbles, stories, creative fun, fireworks and much more! First Night St. Petersburg celebrates its 18th Annual New Year's Eve celebration of the arts from 5:00 p.m. to midnight at multiple venues in downtown St. Petersburg. Family-oriented festivities with music stages, entertainment, drama, dance, games, art, fireworks and more.
