Children’s Clothing Closet Volunteer position available at William Temple House
William Temple House seeks volunteers to assist in our Children's Clothing Closet.
Volunteers will help assemble clothing packs for families based on the sizes and styles clients request. Volunteers may also assist in ordering clothes, sorting/organizing, and stocking shelves and clothing racks. *COVID safety protocols are in place: social distancing and PPE (masks/gloves). Volunteers will not interact with clients, at this time.
This is a regular (weekly or bi-weekly) position. 2 hour (or 2+ hour) shifts preferred. Shift schedule is flexible - shifts are available anytime Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm.
Job Requirements:
- Be on time and work all scheduled shifts.
- Have good organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with fellow volunteers and staff.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Make a 3 month volunteer commitment.
