ORGANIZATION: HOPE, Inc.

$65 to $100 per satisfactory completion of each assignment. These assignmens are civil rights activities. This is not full-time or part-time employment. Assignments generally last a few hours and are done when it's convenient for the volunteer to do them. Once a volunteer accepts an assignment, however, it must be conducted at the assigned time and day.

We are seeking people who have good oral and written communication skills and want to ensure fair & equal access to products and services. This is a fantastic opportunity for people who want to volunteer but have limited time.

Eligibility requirements:

No misdemeanor convictions involving truth/honesty or of any felony.

Attend and complete a training seminar

Write well enough in English to describe experiences clearly and accurately

Undergo a criminal background check

Access to a car and local travel is necessary.

Description

HOPE, Inc., a leading civil rights organization, is looking for individuals to help further social and economic justice.

Overview: We are seeking people who have good oral and written communication skills and want to ensure fair & equal access to housing products and services.

This is flexible, assignment-based volunteer work involving civil rights investigations. Investigation assignments generally last a few hours, and participants are paid a $40 to $70 stipend for each assignment satisfactorily completed.
