Store coordinator needed Naperville Petco & Petsmart also Aurora Petsmart. Over 25 years old required. Requires: organizational experience, experience managing other people, flexibility, skill with Word and other Office products, experience with public and thinking on the 'fly'. creativity, goal motivated and love of cats. Requires interface with PURRS director and other PURRS personnel and regular communication with volunteers. You ensure everything in the store is happening .. from daily cat care, pictures, laundry, replacement of cats with new cats, adoptions, PR with store and customers.... not necessarily doing it yourself.. but ensuring we have folks set up and doing it. Need ability to train new volunteers on our procedures. Need time available during the week (even in PM) and on weekend. Requires cell phone.You solve issues including letting non performing people go as necessary. Adoption goals are set for this store every week. it is your responsibility to aim for those goals and keep folks motivated and on target and having fun. Scheduling of folks required using our Office Template. Making of contact lists... keeping updated.. reporting back on your store. issues, problems and GOOD THINGS.

You receive training in PURRS procedures and cat handling and full support.

Store is staffed for daily cat care and most other tasks. Most procedures defined and set up already.

Requires ability to step in, learn quickly and take charge. Realistically 4-5 hours a week job. Requires at least weekly visit to store to check in, maintain PR and make sure store is up to standard.
