Since our founding in 1948, BloodSource has been collecting blood donations and providing life-saving blood products to our communities and beyond. Thanks to the generosity of donors throughout Northern and Central California, we are the source of nearly every drop of blood used in nearly 40 hospitals in 25 counties.
In December, BloodSource-Midtown will be one of the host sites for the "12 Days of Midtown Sacramento" event. We are looking for a volunteer with a great attitude and energy to volunteer at the event as our mascot, Drippy. This event is an easy way to come volunteer during the holidays by helping to greet our event attendees.

Description
Vitalant ("Vye-TAL-ent") is the nation’s largest independent, nonprofit blood services provider exclusively focused on providing lifesaving blood and comprehensive transfusion medicine services for about 900 hospitals and their patients across the U.S. Every day, Vitalant needs to collect about 5,300 blood, platelet and plasma donations to help save lives.
