Torrance State Hospital needs volunteers. There are many different ways to participate. Volunteer at the library, volunteer office or nurse's office just to name a few. We also need volunteer shoppers to purchase items for patients who cannot do so themselves. Need a senior project? Many students have done fundraisers for the hospital's indigent patient fund that provides money for patients who have none. Each indigent patient gets $5.00 twice weekly in order to purchase snacks, drinks, etc. Enhance the lives of our patients...VOLUNTEER!
