GRID Alternatives is seeking volunteers and job trainees who would like to get hands-on experience installing solar electric systems for low income families throughout Central Coast communities. It's a great way to learn, teach and have fun while also giving back to the community and environment. Come to one of our volunteer orientations to get started! Fill out our online volunteer application at volunteer.gridalternatives.org and request a spot for an upcoming orientation.

Description
GRID Alternatives is a both a nonprofit organization and a licensed solar installer. We install solar electric systems for low-income families throughout the community. We make this happen by teaming up with volunteers and job trainees to provide hands-on solar installation experience.
