Training & Development Specialists - Pro Bono Strategic HR Projects
On a Taproot Foundation pro bono project, Training and Development Specialists are responsible for creating the training, tools and processes necessary to implement a performance management system or staff development plan. Training and Development Specialists work closely with a team of professionals including performance management analysts, internal communications specialists, and strategic HR consultants.
A Service Grant project requires a 3-5 hour commitment each week over the course of approximately 6 months. This opportunity is flexible enough to work around the schedule of a full-time job.
Taproot Foundation makes it easy to make a difference. We’re a nonprofit organization that makes business talent available to organizations that are working to improve society. Our goal is to ensure that one day all organizations with promising solutions will be equipped to successfully take on urgent social challenges. To date, we have engaged close to 7,700 professionals on close to 2,300 pro bono projects benefiting education, health, environment, social service, and arts initiatives.
Now it’s your turn to join the movement and Make It Matter .

Mission Statement
Our mission is to lead, mobilize and engage professionals in pro bono service that drives social change.
Description
Most organizations tackling social problems don't have access to the marketing, design, technology, management or strategic planning resources they need to succeed. Without this talent, few are able to have their intended impact on critical issues like the environment, health and education.
Taproot is a nonprofit organization that makes business talent available to organizations working to improve society.
We engage the nation's millions of business professionals in pro bono services both through our award-winning programs and by partnering with companies to develop their pro bono programs. One day, we envision all organizations with promising solutions will be equipped to successfully take on urgent social challenges.
