The Education Department is looking for individuals who are flexible, motivated and enthusiastic about teaching students and working with school groups. Guided education gallery tours, museum classes, afterschool programs, outreach programs,staffing artifact carts,grant writing and scout programs are the opportunities that we have here. Minimum volunteer requirement is four hours per week. If you are ambitious and ready to use your experiences and creativity to impact hundreds of teachers and students visiting the Museum,you are ready to be an Education Teaching Volunteer. Teaching experience not required as we will train you.
