We are looking for volunteers to help in our local schools with programming aimed at teaching kids golf & life skills through The First Tee of Northern Nevada in-school programming. A lot of area schools do not have access to P.E. classes and this is a free program that might otherwise be unavailable to them. You need to be an approved volunteer of The First Tee, be able to pass a background check (paid for by us) and have basic knowledge of the game of golf. Your job would be to help manage safety during classes as well as help teach basic skills such as trying new things to build confidence and respecting equipment, others and teachers/coaching staff.
