Valley Village is looking for volunteers to join our clients on field trips to festivals, the beach, museums, malls, parks, and more. Our clients have a wonderful time -- and so will you. The outings are on Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. (trip hours vary). Just those few hours make a such a difference to adults with intellectual challenges. Valley Village, a non-profit organization, provides day and residential care to adults with developmental disabilities. Volunteers will help push wheelchairs and be a buddy to the clients. If you want to brighten someone’s life or need to complete volunteer hours, give us a call!

Mission Statement
Valley Village has provided services for adults with developmental disabilities in the San Fernando Valley for nearly 50 years. Our mission is to protect, foster, develop and advance the rights and interests of people with developmental disabilities. We manage 18 group homes and 3 day programs across the San Fernando Valley and have a variety of programs where you can make a difference as a volunteer either at one of our sites, or on one of our community outings around Los Angeles County. Since 1971, Valley Village, a 501(c)3 organization, has been a leader in building transformative programs that raise the standard of care for all people with developmental disabilities in the San Fernando Valley. With over 48 years of proven successes, our hallmark approach to a continuum of care for adults with developmental challenges continues to be an effective model for providing dignity, respect, and personal empowerment. Renowned throughout southern California for its dedicated staff, programming, and around-the-clock care, Valley Village serves over 400 men and woman with disabilities as a leader in the fostering, development, and advancement of rights and interest of people with developmental disabilities.
