Beyond Sports Foundation is looking for dedicated and committed tutors/ mentors. Tutoring needs vary in subject area (ACT, History, French, Math, English, etc.) and skill level. Hours are flexible, mostly evenings and weekends.
Tutors will provide academic assistance and serve as role models for our Student-Athletes. Most Student-Athletes simply need help understanding and completing homework tasks. Tutors act as mentors to help guide our Student-Athletes in developing soft skills. Student-Athletes build long lasting, meaningful relationships with tutors/ mentors.
Volunteers are such an important piece to the work that we do. The BSF community of Staff, Student-Athletes, and families greatly appreciate the work of our volunteer tutors/ mentors.

Mission Statement
Beyond Sports Foundation uses the power of sport to transform lives by turning athletic ability into life opportunity.
Description
Beyond Sports Foundation prepares student-athletes to succeed in life. We work with student-athletes from under-resourced families in under-served communities that will need financial assistance in order to attend college. Many of our student-athletes are from populations that are under-represented on college campuses.
Investing in student-athletes in our community creates the leaders of the future by helping them develop the skills they need to prosper and positively impact future generations. Beyond Sports Foundation uses sport as the vehicle for student-athletes to secure Division 1 college scholarships and a four-year degree. While sport is valuable, we reinforce that sport will end one day and that an education will last a lifetime.
As a pioneer among college access and success programs, Beyond Sports Foundation is the only organization offering support for student-athletes to strengthen their academic, life and career skills while paralleling their athletic training in order to prepare them for college and beyond through our four pillars of engagement:
Academic Development
Athletic Development
Social Responsibility
Professional Development & Mentorship
