Responsibilities: Volunteers work directly with clients in the Client Services department. Client Advocates conduct intake meetings with clients to learn about their needs in order to connect them to services from the Action Center. Client Advocates also refer clients to other community resources for additional assistance.
Qualifications: Must have prior experience working with low-income, crisis, or at-risk individuals. BA in social services, counseling, psychology, or related field is preferred but not required.
Time Commitment: At least one 4-hour shift a week.
