Bird lovers! Animal lovers! The Lily Sanctuary offers a wonderful experience working with exotic parrots at our rescue/sanctuary located in Fountain Valley (Orange County) California. Have fun while you work. We offer an opportunity to interact with these amazing creatures, though nobody is required to handle birds if they choose not to. We need help with daily maintenance of our flock: cage cleaning, food prep, transferring birds to outdoor aviaries, and socializing. They talk, they play, and they are full of love. You can be part of it! Please commit to 4 hours per week (or bi-weekly) from noon to 4:00 pm. Closed Tuesday and Thursday. Must be 18 years or older (we will consider highly qualified applicants under 18 in special circumstances). The Lily Sanctuary is a non-profit 501(c)(3) parrot rescue group dedicated to the care of rescued special needs birds and to find them a new home.
