Administrative Volunteer

The mission of Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho is to provide exceptional reproductive and complementary health care services, honest education and fearless advocacy for all.

Position Description: Are you friendly and outgoing? How would you like to greet patients and visitors as they enter the building at our Indiana Ave. clinic located in Spokane? If so, than this is the volunteer position for you! This position includes duties such as support functions, receptionist duties, monitoring cameras, data entry, greeting patients and assisting with shipping and receiving. This is a fun and outgoing place to volunteer where you can come and meet new friends.

Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho is recruiting for positions with hours on Mondays 8:30 AM - 1 PM, Tuesdays 8-11 AM, Fridays 8:30-10 AM, and Mondays 4-6 PM, Tuesdays 4-6 PM, Wednesdays 4-6 PM and Thursdays 4-6 PM. If you are available to volunteer during these times, we would love to talk with you!

Other duties may include folding and stuffing envelopes or straightening up waiting rooms. Training is provided.

Volunteers must complete the volunteer application and criminal history disclosure form, complete an interview, and successfully pass a background check and reference checks before starting. There is a mandatory 3 hour orientation for new volunteers.

• Great customer service skills

• Attention to detail

• Responsible and reliable

• Experience working with the public, and diverse populations in a professional manner is preferred

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
