BE A MENTOR!

89% of LATM youth come from homes where neither parent has graduated college, and 29% don't live with a high school graduate. As a mentor, you can help our kids dream big, believe in themselves, and achieve a brighter future by volunteering two hours a week!

You can make a difference in the lives of deserving at-risk youth in Los Angeles! Volunteer with our team mentoring program, and work with students in a fun, relaxed, supportive environment.

As a volunteer mentor with LATM, you'll be matched with 2-3 other adult mentors, and together you will work as a mentor team. Your mentor team will be matched with a group of 12-15 underserved middle school youth.

Each week, teams of students and mentors will participate in different activities, games and projects with the guidance and support of the LATM staff. Through these team building activities, you and your co-mentors will help the students on your team to gain important life skills like teamwork, leadership and communication. You will have the opportunity to share your own life experiences with your mentees, and to serve as a positive role model and friend to them.

Mentoring with LATM is an amazing opportunity to impact the lives of 12-15 deserving kids, with the support other volunteers and staff members in a safe after-school environment.

Two-hours a week can inspire a lifetime of change!
