A variety of opportunities are available to volunteers from the community including: Transporting Residents (in-house), Recreational Activities both in-house and in the community, Craft Workshop Assistance, Religious Activities, Friendship Visitors, Animal Assisted Visits, Retail Shop Associates, Mom & Tots programming, Music Therapies, and many, many more.
Daytime volunteers Monday through Friday are our greatest need; however, a variety of opportunities are also available in the evening and on weekends. The facility is operational 24-hours a day.

Mission Statement
The mission of the DuPage Care Center is to provide quality long-term care and rehabilitation services to DuPage County residents in a professional and cost effective manner. It is the sincere goal of the entire staff to recognize and serve each resident's needs, desires, interests and emotions. We employ those interventions of treatment, therapy and activity which restore health, dignity and hopefulness to residents, by assisting them to do as much as they can, for as long as they can. There is no limit to the possible innovations in these treatments, therapies, and activities. When appropriate, we strive to return residents to their home and the community.
Description
The DuPage Care Center is one the most innovative, state of the art nursing and rehabilitation centers in the state of Illinois. This long-term care and rehabilitation facility houses 508 residents of DuPage County who require skilled nursing care.
