Wetland Restoration at Lower Commons Park

Volunteer with the ongoing restoration efforts at the Lower Commons wetland, the headwaters of Ebright Creek. Volunteers will help enhance wetland habitat by planting and mulching native trees and shrubs and removing invasive plants. This project is perfect for students looking to complete community service hours for school and great for groups of all ages. Water, snacks, gloves and tools will be provided. Please dress appropriately for weather, wear long sleeves/pants and closed-toed shoes. Youth under 18 need to provide a waiver signed by parents to participate in the event. An electronic waiver form will be sent with confirmation upon registration. Hard copies will be available at sign-in during the event. Please register prior to Friday at 4pm. No confirmation e-mails will be sent after 4pm on Friday. This park is located below City Hall - The best access is from SE 4th and 222nd Place SE.
