Summer Volunteer Opportunities 2015
Attend orientation on Wednesday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. at The Centre. All new volunteers must be at least 16 years old, attend orientation, sign a waiver and have a background check.
High School and College Students it's not too early to sign up to volunteer as a summer camp assistant.
It is a great opportunity for students who are thinking about a career in education or recreation. Volunteer positions show future employers and college admission counselors the student's drive and dedication. Such accomplishments demonstrate initiative, personal will and leadership skills.
Eastside Recreation Center Youth Summer Camp Assistant
Assist the Eastside Recreation Center staff and team leaders with activities that promote positive and healthy lifestyles for youth. Activities include sports, arts & crafts, games, special event days, swimming and more.
Location: Monday, Wednesday & Friday - Eastside Recreation Center,
1080 E. Chicago Street
Tuesday & Thursday - Lords Park Pavilion and Pool, 325 Hiawatha Drive
Dates: June 6 - July 1 and July 11 to August 5
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
