Community Relations Liaisons plan and attend meetings where residents voice their concerns about events, needs, and challenges effecting the community. You'll also perform surveys in the neighborhood to determine residents' needs, refer them to agencies for help and make them aware of what Not By Bread Alone (NBBA) does in the community. Your primary responsible is raising awareness about NBBA's mission, to network, form alliances/patrnerships with other groups and basically, perform as an outreach worker for the non-profit.

Our purpose is "To serve the community by providing educational, awareness and skills building workshops and services to promote individual, family and community improvement and well being, including those of low-to-moderate income."
Description
We provide a monthly breakfast forum related to topics in three broad categories related to business, community and family. These educational workshops are designed to provide skills building, awareness and access to community services. Our intention is to motivate then activate residents to action. We look for skilled people in the community to present fact based information for the good of local residents, to build the confidence of neighborhood residents, encourage self reliance and participation in communityactivities. We sponsor an annual educational event and work with mentoring programs.
