Jewish Family Service of San Diego (JFS) serves over 30,000 individuals a year regardless of background. Our main office, Turk Family Center, houses many departments in which administrative help can be used. You have the chance to gain work experience in the non profit field and learn what working in a large social service agency is like.
Our senior transportation service, On the Go, is looking for an administrative volunteer twice a week, for a total of 6-8 hours per week during business hours (generally 8:30am to 5pm M-F) to assist with answering phones, mailings, updating our client database, and customer service. This is a tremendous opportunity to gain valuable non-profit work experience!
We have a variety of other senior-related programs looking for administrative volunteers, and you will have the opportunity to double our impact by assisting with various administrative projects.
