The largest food pantry in Northern Utah needs your help! Are you able to lift cans and small food items? Do others describe you as compassionate? Do you have at least 1 hour per week to donate to a respected non-profit that serves 2,000 households per month with their vital food needs?

If so, you may want to consider volunteering in the food pantry warehouse at Catholic Community Services of Northern Utah! Every day we need to sort food, create food baskets, and organize our items in the food storage area. Most of all, we need people to help out during the hours that we distribute food. We are experiencing a shortage of regular warehouse volunteers during this time, and we'd love to see some new people join our crew. We are open 7:30am-3:30 daily, and we need help during any of those times--all we ask is that you come in willing to donate at least two hours in our warehouse. There is also one Thursday evening from 4-6 pm and one Saturday morning from 8:30-12pm available per month.

CCS-NU operates the Joyce Hansen Hall food bank, the largest food pantry in northern Utah. We have a welcoming, open environment where we make our volunteers understand how important they are to our operations. Come to one of our orientations (Monday or Friday at noon, lasting about an hour) and get started volunteering in our food pantry today! We also take groups of volunteers, and we are open to special project ideas.
