Volunteers are need in to help local crisis services agencies. Help families in need by assisting with intake, interviewing, food & clothing pantries as well as thrift stores. Volunteers are needed in Buncombe, Henderson & Transylvania Counties.

Working with local governments, organizations and volunteerss to develop a comprehensive, coordinated system to improve the quality of life for all older adults in Buncombe, Hendeson, Madison and Transylvania Counties.
Description
Want to volunteer but don't know how to get started? Call the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) at the Land-of-Sky Regional Council. We are the volunteer center for older adults age 55 or better. We serve the counties of Henderson, Transylvania, Buncombe and Madison and are here to help you match your skills and talents to rewarding volunteer opportunities. Working with over 100 non-profit agencies we offer over 400 opportunities; if we don't have something that interests you we will do our best to find that opportunity for you! Volunteer as much as you like and take advantage of our fun recognition events and complimentary theatre tickets to expand your social calendar along with many lifelong learning opportunities through educational workshops.
