Description

Seeking licensed veterinarians with a committed interest in bringing affordable/accessible spay-neuter to low income communities. Volunteers needed to vaccinate and examine pets and/or perform spay-neuter surgeries on board our 28' state-of-the-art mobile veterinary unit. The clinic is equipped with two 60" surgical tables in a fully enclosed surgical suite, 22 stainless steel cages, a dental/prep. table, hot and cold running water, central heat and AC, and top of the line anasthesia machines. Services are restricted to humane societies and/or residents of the District and Northern Virginia who are on qualified public assistance programs. Surgeries are performed every Wednesday beginning June 2nd.

Skills

  • Licensed Veterinarian in DC, Virginia or Maryland. For veterinarians not licensed in the District, we will handle paperwork and cost of obtaining a DC license.
