Volunteers Needed to Populate Disaster Application

KateNation is working to develop a disaster resource application that will help people affected by disasters locate available resources. Prior to launching the application, we are working to map each state by capturing organizational data and contact information for established national agencies (like the Red Cross, Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, etc). Volunteers are currently working to research and populate data for this application.
To generate data, each volunteer is working to map one assigned state. To complete this, volunteers are working from a template spreadsheet that has suggested research links, organizations, and examples. At this point, we have enough volunteers to map 15 states.
Please email kate@katenation.org if you are interested in volunteering and I will send you a state. You can volunteer from home at any time that is convenient to you. If possible, KateNation would like to have all of the data collected by October 28, 2011.
