Children's Tumor Foundation- NF Walk Las Vegas

We are looking for about 30 volunteers for our upcoming Las Vegas Walk for NF. It will be located at Sunset Park ( 2601 East Sunset Road Las Vegas, NV 89120) on November 13th. We are looking for help with set-up, registration, raffle, t-shirt sales, food and drink tables, mid-point walk encouragement and end of walk encouragement. We are asking our volunteers to be at the park no later than 8:00am and we will be done by 12pm. If you are interesting in volunteering please respond to this add, we always appreciate more volunteers.

The walk is put on by The Children's Tumor Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) medical foundation, dedicated to improving the health and well being of individuals and families affected by the neurofibromatoses (NF).

Neurofibromatosis encompasses a set of distinct genetic disorders that causes tumors to grow along various types of nerves. NF can also affect the development of non-nervous tissues such as bones and skin. Neurofibromatosis causes tumors to grow anywhere on or in the body.

NF Walk is a national program in which communities rally around individuals and families affected by NF. NF Walks are non-competitive, relaxed, celebratory events designed to champion the individuals who every day live with the challenges of NF. If you are unable to walk, you are welcome to come along and enjoy the day's event and activities!

We will honor community service hours. We hope you can join us for this fun event!!
