We need volunteers who will inspire, coach and model the way for girls to be proud of themselves and to know they have what it takes to be the person they want to become! Join us in this quest to EMPOWER young women to be equipped, prepared and ready to face the World!

Background:

EmpowHer is an organization that strives to give young women the tool kit to define and manage their personal brands by empowering them to know, believe and have faith that they have it within themselves to succeed at everything they put their minds to! EmpowHer provides a safe avenue for young women to explore who they are and what they represent through learning tools that make them EMPOWERED to make the RIGHT decisions for them ALL the time!

Context:

Our Academy Program provides training on:

Getting a New Attitude by overcoming discouraging thoughts to create the dreams they want in their lives - their circumstances do not define their destinies!

Facing Decisions and Challenges by understanding their strengths and weaknesses and learning how to make decisions in the face of uncertainty by leveraging resources that are available to them. They will also be armed with the knowledge and skill set to avoid abusive relationships, bullying and teen pregnancy!

Creating Abundance in their lives through Financial Awareness; identifying ways to manage money, creating additional sources to generate income, understanding how to use credit cards wisely as well as the financial impact of buying a car. EMPOWERING them to make sound financial decisions and create their own financial success!

Interpersonal/Communication Skills by helping them to develop social and interpersonal tools that will allow them to learn appropriate behavior for various occasions in managing health, wellness and positive self-image!

High Personal Self Esteem by valuing themselves as women - their right to choose, to say no, to be who they want to be - and believing in their own abilities because they have a voice and they USE it!

Education and Leadership by instilling the need for education and the want to strive to attain it by knowing with it there are no limitations on what they can achieve because they understand the various avenues to achieving their goals!

Career Oriented skills to make good choices, set goals, seek mentorship, recognize sexual discrimination in the workplace and know how to deal with adversity to succeed!

ALL of the above will be thoroughly touched to ensure that upon completion of this program girls have become young EMPOWERED women who hold their destiny in their own hands!!!
