Family & Children’s Agency is seeking a volunteer to help with data entry into our electronic medial records computer system. This is an ongoing project which may require a few hours a month of candidates time.
Volunteers should have prior experience working in an office setting. Ideal candidate will be able to use a copy machine/scanner and be comfortable using a computer.
Requirements
To become a volunteer with Family & Children’s Agency, volunteers must complete an application and necessary background checks, including criminal, state, and Department of Children and Families checks. Volunteers must also complete an agency orientation and HIPAA Training with the Manager of Community Engagement. Volunteer needs proof of Covid Vaccination. You will be directly trained by staff from the Community Connections Department.

- Desire to work in an administrative capacity
- General knowledge of computers and data entry
- Dependability and consistency
- Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries
- Clean background check
- COVID Vaccinated

- Supports children through ASPIRE, Foster Care and IICAPS.
- Builds families through Adoption, Parent Education and Guidance.
- Stabilizes adults with counseling, substance abuse treatment, and supportive housing services.
- Cares for seniors by providing caregiver support, PERS, caregivers and live-in assistance so they can stay in their homes.
