The Academic Learning Center at Salem CyberSpace engages low-income, primarily Latino youth from 6th through 12th grades (ages 11-18) in a free after school academic program. You can really make a difference in the life of an adolescent - in the past 4 years all of our high school seniors graduated high school and went onto college.

Due to our success and the need for academic help for middle and high school students, our program is growing and we need more tutors. We especially need math and science tutors and those who are interested in STEM activities, although volunteers who would like to tutor other subjects are needed as well. Our basic tutoring program runs Monday and Wednesday from 2-6:30, Tuesday and Thursday from 2-6:00 and Fridays 2-5; tutors can choose their day and hours. There are also opportunities for one-on-one tutoring.

If you or someone you know has a minimum of two hours a week they can share with our students, please contact Debi Chute at 978-740-6667 ext. 103 or dchute@salemcyberspace.org. Check us out at www.salemcyberspace.org.
