Health Fair Table

We are looking for dedicated community professionals and residents interested in creating a healthier environment in Osceola County by promoting tobacco-free lifestyles within Osceola County.

Please Note ** Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, parent or legal guardian at all times.

Volunteer hours vary based on need and are not consistent.

Interested volunteers can become one of our partnership officers or simply become a member and help with following efforts:

1. Promote Tobacco-Prevention Policies (advocacy)
2. Community Outreach (Presentation, Public Speaking)
3. Health and Wellness Health Fairs- assistance with table and distributing health information to community residents and visitors, dates vary.

Partnership Meetings are as follow and RSVP required:

Mission Statement

The mission of the Osceola County Tobacco Prevention Partnership is to a create a tobacco free environment for Osceola County, to cooperate with the State of Florida to significantly reduce the acceptability, accessibility, the initiation of tobacco use by youth and adult and to improve the health of Osceola County residents and visitors, to educate the residents and visitors about the health issues associated with tobacco us, and to act as an advocate for positive reform.

GOALS

To reduce the tobacco use inOsceolaCountyby the year 2017

To increase the smoke-free policies to public and private places inOsceolaCountyby 2017

To establish a youth advisory board by the year 2017

To have an educational system in Osceola County Schools in order to reduce tobacco industry influences by the year 2017
