POSITION:

Front Desk Greeter

POSITION PURPOSE:

To provide support to the Center Collections Department by greeting blood donors and guests, answering and transferring phones and working with delivery services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Greet donors as they arrive for their donations.

2) Have donors read the stop sign

3) Electronically scan in donors

4) Provide the donor with any information they need to read before donating

5) Keep a tally of donors that present to donate

6) Ensure all presenting donors receive raffle tickets for monthly raffle and/or current promotional raffles

7) Answer switch board and direct calls to appropriate departments

8) Follow procedures regarding visitors

9) Follow procedures regarding incoming deliveries

REPORTS TO:

Executive Administrative Assistant

HOURS OF WORK:

Monday - Friday;

11:30a to 12:30p. Volunteer will choose a minimum of one day a week

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Must have good customer service skills.

2) Must enjoy working with other people.

3) Must understand and preserve confidentiality of donors.

4) Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instructions.

5) Must be able to write legibly.

6) Must show up for each shift as scheduled!
