The Chaska Figure Skating CLub has various opportunities throughout the year. Below is a partial listing.
Garage Sale - September 15 through 17 - assistants needed to oversee sale, help customers with packing and loading if needed
Rock On Ice - Held 6 times a year on Saturday evenings - assistants needed to collect admission fees and sell concessions. September 24, October 29, December 3 or 10, end of January, mid- March, mid-May, mid-July.
Other fundraising opportunities, such as
Car Wash - summer
Grocery Bagging - various
River City Days - last weekend in July, work shifts in smoothie booth for local town festival
Exhibitions - December, June and August - play music during exhibition performances by skaters
Administrative assistance - variable times and hours, type reports, help prepare tax information

Mission Statement
The Chaska Figure Skating Club seeks to provide instruction in all types of figure skating. We value of the advancement and learning of young individuals. We seek to encourage and cultivate a spirit of fraternal feeling among ice skaters. Finally, the CFSC seeks to sponsor and cooperate in the amateur ice carnivals, shows, exhibitions, and competitions.
Description
The Chaska Figure Skating Club is a community based, youth, athletic organization. It is a member of US Figure Skating. The club offers instructional and practice ice time for its members. The focus of the club is to allow skaters to advance through the skill levels of the USFSA. Additionally, we encourage our skaters to compete at the state and national levels, and have had several members who have won competitions at these levels.
