Adults are needed to be present at the rink during practice ice sessions. Responsibilities include signing skaters in, playing music on the boombox and being in attendance in the event of an injury.
Individual sessions are 45 minutes long. Some days there are two sessions in a row. Rink monitors can be sign up for one or both sessions in such a case.
General schedule during school year:
Sundays 1:45 - 2:30 and 2:30 - 3:15 PM
Mondays 8:15 - 9:00 PM
Tuesdays 5:45 - 6:30 and 6:30 - 7:15 PM
Thursdays 3:15 - 4:00, 4:00 - 4:45, and 7:15 - 8:00 PM
Saturdays 11:00 - 11:45 AM

Mission Statement
The Chaska Figure Skating Club seeks to provide instruction in all types of figure skating. We value of the advancement and learning of young individuals. We seek to encourage and cultivate a spirit of fraternal feeling among ice skaters. Finally, the CFSC seeks to sponsor and cooperate in the amateur ice carnivals, shows, exhibitions, and competitions.
Description
The Chaska Figure Skating Club is a community based, youth, athletic organization. It is a member of US Figure Skating. The club offers instructional and practice ice time for its members. The focus of the club is to allow skaters to advance through the skill levels of the USFSA. Additionally, we encourage our skaters to compete at the state and national levels, and have had several members who have won competitions at these levels.
