The Works will be at the University of Minnesota's Math & Science Family Fun Fair on November 19th from 10 AM - 4 PM.
The U says "Fascinating activities, hands-on exhibits and entertaining presentations showcasing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics add up to a day of fun and learning."
The Works needs volunteers to lend a hand making Sound Sandwiches- wacky wind instruments (well, noisemakers) made from a few popsicle sticks, rubber bands, and drinking straws. We'll also have our fun Magnetic Bridges activity for those who like to keep it freeform. Won't you join us?
Two shifts available:
10 AM - 1 PM
1 PM - 4 PM
More opportunities with The Works
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
