Thank you for supporting Vets and Their Pets, an Arizona based non-profit dedicated to helping veterans in need through foster care, service animal training, and veterinary treatment for their pets. These services are provided to veterans free of charge as they pursue medical treatment, transitional housing, and get back on their feet.
We are making a difference ...but we can't do it without the support of volunteers. Please join us in this great cause!
Pet Foster Volunteer - Becoming a pet foster parent is a truly benevolent act, granting safety, a warm home and loving environment while a pet's veteran owner is receiving medical care or improving their circumstances in transitional housing.
The warmth, love and repayment you will receive from a loving animal in need, and from knowing that your kind act gives back to a brave veteran, is like no other. Thank you for applying to become a pet foster home for Vets and Their Pets.

Mission Statement
OUR MISSION: Vets and Their Pets provides temporary housing, veterinary care and food for animals of veterans in need. We will spay/neuter and provide basic shots for a veteran's animal. Our primary focus is homeless veterans or veterans in transitional housing needing assistance. The core focus is to ensure that a veteran will seek medical care for their needs while we provide care for their animals. Additionally we will support veterans that are in transitional housing by providing a home for their animal until they obtain permanent housing that will allow the animal to live with them. Vets and Their Pets is a division of Valley Dogs.
Description
Vets and Their Pets is a branch of Valley Dogs Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit (EIN:26-0896950), no-kill animal rescue organization. Our focus is to support for the animals of veterans in need by providing veterinary care, temporary housing and food.
We are based in Phoenix Arizona and are working with the Veterans Association and Veterans support organizations to identify those in need throughout the Phoenix area. We are coordinating support from other non-profit organizations that will also be providing food and other services to veteran's animals. We are seeking support from others to help us with community outreach, transportation and foster care for veteran's animals. We have over 40 years of combined animal rescue experience and knowledge.
